BIFIPRO® Operation
BIFIPRO® employs a number of unique technical features which distinguish us from our competitors. We use separate copper and silver electrodes (not an alloy). BIFIPRO® has two separate flow meters, and we have a very precise, patented controller. As a result our equipment may appear more expensive than that of our competitors. However, because our systems really work, ultimately you will save more money on sampling, lab-analysis, and energy costs (through being able to lower the hot water temperatures in your plumbing systems).
Our customers know that BIFIPRO® really eradicates Legionella contamination, that you and your organisation can finally stop worrying about and dealing with Legionella and that ultimately you will save money.
Holland Watertechnology only supplies BIFIPRO®. Unlike advisers and suppliers of other equipment, we do not benefit from you having to go through a costly and time-consuming process with unnecessary flushing, expensive plumbing or construction rework, and ineffective filtration or UV systems that are not only expensive, but stop protecting you at the first power failure. Our goals and your goals are completely aligned.
What should you ask your supplier?
There are a number of questions you should ask your supplier before choosing them:
About customers
- How many installations do you have in the field?
- Has Legionella been eradicated at these installations?
- Have customers of your solution switched to other solutions?
- Can we approach your customers for a reference?
About the effectiveness
- Does your equipment have separate copper - silver electrodes? If not, how can you minimise the dosage of both copper and silver released into the water independently?
- How do you prevent scaling, corrosion and ion deposits on your electrodes?
- How do you adjust the dosage to the volume of water being used?
- Can my staff/customers tell from the smell or taste of the drinking water that Legionella prevention is taking place?
About the reliability
- If electricity drops out for a day, am I still protected against Legionella?
- If a flowmeter malfunctions or yields incorrect readings, what happens to the dosage, and how will you know the device needs replacing?
- Can you monitor or control the operation of the equipment from a distance?
About your supplier
- Does your supplier earn more money if you (continue) to have Legionella problems, or if you solve them effectively?
