Costs and Benefits

Bifipro Installatie

A BIFIPRO® system has a one off cost, and a maintenance contract to ensure that:

  • we can maintain the equipment and ensure that it operates correctly and without disruption;
  • the quantities of copper and silver are kept at minimal levels and optimally adjusted to work effectively in your water-system;
  • the copper and silver electrodes are replaced on time.

Cheaper equipment is available (also operating with copper-silver ionisation), and a number of our customers bought, and installed, and subsequently replaced that equipment with BIFIPRO®. Ultimately it appears that only our equipment effectively eradicates Legionella and allows you to save on the related time, effort and costs.

Savings

BIFIPRO saves your organisation so much on your energy bill, that the system pays for itself within a year. In addition you do not pollute the environment with chemicals, you waste less water, you save energy and make your organisation meet it's sustainability goals more easily.

Return on Investment

Some of our prospects believe that a BIFIPRO® system is an expensive purchase. The opposite appears to be true and a BIFIPRO® system can save you money. If you would like to understand what your return on investment is, please answer the following questions:

  • How much does your current method of Legionella prevention cost you ?
    • testing, sampling, and analyses per annum ?
    • to what temperature have you had to increase the warm water temperature (express as a percentage of your energy bills)?
    • flushing, in water loss;
    • flusing, in man hours ?
    • modifications to your building, your temperature control, your water-system and plumbing ?
    • fysical or chemical systems ?
    • maintenance costs and purchase costs of the equipment?
  • how effective are these methods ?
  • if you had a guaranteed and effective BIFIPRO® installation, how would you be able to reduce costs ?
  • How much would it cost your organisation if Legionella is detected, or worse, people fall ill? Has that ever happened?
    • what would it do to your organisations reputation ?
    • how many hours would your staff spend on the Legionella problem instead of their regular jobs?
    • what would the loss of utilisation or revenues be?
    • what PR or crisis communication costs would you incur?
    • what about board or management liability?
    • what happens to your insurance premiums ?
    • how much would you spend on remediation ?
