  • Buildings, offices and commercial property can have an increased Legionella risk. Practice shows that unless Legionella actually has been detected, there is little urgency to address Legionalla preventively;
  • If a building has a public function, generates a lot of traffic, and uses wet cooling towers, there is an additional risk of spreading Legionella;
  • If there is a Legionella contamination:
    • You are forced to perform a quick chemical clean-up and flushing, which is costly and disruptive;
    • This causes negative publicity and perhaps loss of revenues;
    • You may be subject to claims;
  • Proactive prevention is better than reacting to a crisis;
