BIFIPRO®COOL eliminates Legionella bacteria and biofilm in open, recirculating coolingtowers. BIFIPRO®COOL employs copper-silver ionisation using our patented technologies to ensure that Legionella is eradicated with minimal quantities of copper and silver.

BIFIPRO®COOL is used with coolingtowers because these generate a spray of water to cool. In an open coolingtower bacteria can develop because leaves and other contamination can enter the water through the open cooling vents. The spray of water (aerosol) can travel for miles, and if Legionella bacteria are present anywhere in the system contamination can spread very easily.
